How this works
1. Pick a competition
Every competition prints the price and your chance of winning it, so you know what you are buying before you buy it.
2. Enter the draw
Choose how many entries you want and check out. There is no question to answer. There is also a free entry route by post, into the same draw with the same chance. How to enter free.
3. Watch it drawn
Bigger competitions are streamed live on Facebook and the winner is announced there. Smaller ones are drawn automatically the moment entries close.
Site credit is not cash
Bonuses and prize wheel prizes are site credit, which you can spend on entries. Only winnings can be withdrawn. We would rather say that here than in the small print.
How our draws are checked
Why you can believe the result
Before a draw runs we publish a fingerprint of the random seed that decides it, and of the full list of entries. After the draw we publish the seed itself. Anyone can recompute the winning number from those two things and check it matches the winner we announced.
That ordering is the whole point. A seed published only after the result could have been generated over and over until it picked a favoured entrant, and nothing in the record would show it. A fingerprint published beforehand cannot be changed afterwards.
